Image Capture Specialist

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Maintain office records, in paper and electronic format, including, but not limited to gathering,

organizing, processing and indexing

  •  Access to records may require the individual to move boxes with a weight up to 25lbs

  • Create log sheets, reports and production summaries for scanning work performed

  •  Perform frequent data entry assignments as well as other general administrative office

functions

  •  Conduct quality assurance on all scanning, indexing, and data entry work performed

  •  Research and monitor current trends, best practices, and developments in the information

management industry

  •  Recommend strategies and participate in agency planning, goal setting, and development of policies

  •  Ensure records creation, maintenance, use, and disposition are in accordance with federal guidelines

  • Conduct records inventories of hardcopy and electronic records as well as for information

systems/databases

  •  Provide recommendations on records formats, uniform naming conventions, and storage methods

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in History or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or

experience

  •  Ability to communicate effectively – both orally and in writing

  • Excellent customer service skills to adequately handle the needs of government program

managers and their SMEs

  • Extensive document scanning experience

  •  Familiarity with quality control checks and scanning procedures

  •  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat

  •  Detail-oriented with ability to work in a high pressure environment handling sensitive and/or

classified information while meeting multiple deadlines

FOIA Analyst

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Prepare and review documents in accordance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and Privacy Act (PA)

  •  Process and document FOIA and PA requests to an organization’s records

  •  Interpret regulations, agency enforcement codes, and organizational policies regarding release of agency documents

  •  Ensure released materials do not contain personal identifiers or directly or indirectly reveal trade secrets and other information exempted under the applicable statutes

  •  Review completed requests for appropriateness of materials to be or not to be released

  •  Make redactions as needed before release

  •  Compose response letters, clarify requests, negotiate additional response time, and make recommendations on fees and fee waivers

  •  Coordinate with program offices on conducting searches for responsive documents

  •  Negotiate with submitters of records, and with requestors of those records, to clarify requests in order to make release determinations or recommendations

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  •  DoD Interim Top Secret clearance (upgradeable to Top Secret Clearance)

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in information management related field or equivalent combination of education

and/or experience

  •  Familiarity with the Freedom of Information Act

PREFERRED SKILLS

Declassification Analyst

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  •  Conduct initial declassification reviews in support of Government agency

  •  Analyze unclassified and classified documents to determine the appropriate action needed in accordance with E.O. 13526

  •  Demonstrate understanding of document markings

  • Utilize analytical skills to make determinations on documents for release, referral to other agencies, and

exemption from automatic declassification

  •  Recognize possible nuclear weapons and intelligence information

  •  Properly handle boxes and documents (boxes can weigh between 15-25 lbs.) and ensure integrity of each and every box remains intact

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  •  Bachelor’s Degree in related field; or

  •  Military experience; or

  •  Minimum of two years of experience and knowledge relating to Declassification and E.O. 13526

  •  Active DoD Top Secret Clearance

Records manager


Records manager responsibilities, will include:

  •  Review organizational structure to determine best location for records

  •  Develop policies and procedures for managing records properly

  •  Establish filing systems that allow easy retrieval of records when needed

  •  Prepare reports on the status of records to ensure they are managed properly

  •  Organize and maintaining physical files

  •  Develop records management policies and procedures to meet Government needs

  •  Coordinate with IT staff to create electronic records systems that can be easily accessed by authorized personnel

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree

  •  Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at anytime in the future

  • Active Top Secret security clearance required. Will upgrade if qualified.

  •  5+ years of experience using principles and concepts of information governance of various phases of records and information management, and the complete records process and content management framework that supports the entire lifecycle of agency records

  •  Ability to lead a team of more junior administrative professionals, and serve as a mentor and resource for other employees

  •  Ability to present to senior government clients records management concepts and solutions

SharePoint Application Developer (TS/SCI CLEARANCE REQUIRED)

This is a SharePoint Application Developer position supporting the Department of Homeland Security’s Network Security Division. NSD provides development, acquisition, deployment, operational, program management, industry partnership, and customer support to satisfy the Department’s mission in Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity. Specifically, NSD’s mission is to improve cybersecurity to federal departments, agencies, and industry partners by developing the technologies and establishing the services needed to fulfill CS&C’s cybersecurity mission. To meet that mission need, NSD is organized into Program Management Offices (PMOs) to design, develop, deploy, and sustain cybersecurity capabilities.

• 1+ years of analysis, coding, and deployment of SharePoint hosted and Provider Hosted Add-in’s (the resource should be familiar with the process of converting legacy systems into SharePoint solutions using the modern ‘app model’).

• Experience with service-oriented, multi-tier Architecture, and implementation of scalable, high-performing .NET web applications.

• Experience in developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining Web Services.

• Knowledge of relational databases, specifically MS SQL Server.

• Proven experience practicing standard development processes leveraging agile methodologies such as SCRUM and test driven development.

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Visual Studio Professional 2013, 2015, and/or 2017.

The candidate will provide procurement support to the government. The candidate will assist the government in measuring contractor performance including providing support to award fee boards or other processes as required. The candidate will support the government CORs with contract execution activities such as organizing and tracking contract invoices and deliverables, and monitoring burn rates, analysis of advance liquidations; The candidate will support the government in the preparation of procurement documentation such as market research, SOWs, performance work statements (PWSs), procurement requests (PRs), required justifications, determinations and findings, best procurement approach, J&As etc.; The candidate will provide support and assistance to the government in preparing IT acquisition review (ITAR) Checklists and briefings and adjudicating National Protection and Programs Directorate (NPPD) and DHS CIO review comments and tracking approval. The candidate will support the government with the preparation of the Balance Workforce Strategy (BWS), including but not limited to the area of cost analysis.
